Ekadashi Vrat Katha (the "App") is published by atmakoshe.org ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the App handles. The App has no accounts and no sign-in, and we do not run a server that collects your personal information.
Your choices (language, text size, dark mode, narration voice, reminder timing) and your favourite stories are stored on your device only. They are not sent to us. Uninstalling the App deletes them.
If you set an Ekadashi reminder, the App asks Android for permission to show notifications. Each reminder is scheduled on your device and no reminder details leave your phone.
The App shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads, in order to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Google's handling of that information is described in its privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your Android settings under Privacy > Ads. We do not receive your advertising ID.
The App works offline. It connects to the internet only to load ads and, when available, to refresh the list of Ekadashi dates. Like any internet request, this reveals your IP address to the server that answers it.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera data, or your location. The Panchang is calculated on your device.
When you use the Share button, the story text is handed to the app you choose, for example a messaging app. That app's own privacy policy then applies.
The App is a general-audience devotional app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your data stays on your device and is protected by the Android app sandbox.
Because we do not hold your personal data, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf. You can clear the App's data in Android settings, or uninstall the App, at any time.
We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version. If you keep using the App after an update, you accept the updated policy.
